It has been cold here lately, so first is a set of photos with that theme.

And finally, a Tundra Bean Goose. It is a normally a resident of Northern Europe and Asia. Per current birding records this is the fifth occurence of a Tundra Bean-Goose outside of Alaska. The previous records are from Quebec (1982), Yukon Territory (1999), California (2013) and Nova Scotia (2013). It looks similar to a White-Fronted Goose but with a darker head and distinctly colored black and orange beak.
