Evening with an Eagle (04 Aug 2014, Jackson Bottoms)

It was a beautiful evening here in Hillsboro; warm but with a pleasant breeze.  I had the honor of spending about 40 minutes with a young Bald Eagle at Jackson Bottoms.  It was a special time and I share some of the many photos I took of this young bird playing in the water, drinking, nibbling, walking and flying. He seemed to be having a great time and I know that I did as well. Click on any photo below for an enlargement.
